restore backup of table

I back up the data from a table by right-clicking on the table and then selecting save. The backup file saves correctly in my folder, but when I load it into the table where I want to have my data, nothing loads, as if the backup file were empty.

I have an ID_NUM that is a PRIMARY KEY in each of the tables (source and target).

What is the solution, please? I am stuck.
